NLF Baltimore 2018 Gospel Intensive with Dr. Gary Deddo, pt. 2 (Videos)

Dr Gary Deddo

Dr. Deddo is Special Assistant to GCI President Joseph Tkach. He is the president of Grace Communion Seminary and is the doctrinal advisor of GCI.

This year was the 5th Gospel Intensive event led by Dr. Deddo., and it’s Specific Purpose was to proclaim:

“Jesus Christ, Lord of all of Life”

“We will look into what it means to live as if Jesus Christ is Lord of all of life. It’s often said that we are to live in the world but not of the world. But what does that mean? How can we be the church in our secular world? How can we be witnesses to the Triune God and his coming Kingdom in “this present evil age,” as Paul calls it? Is the church really called and equipped to “turn the world upside down” or right side up? What kinds of difference can we individually and as a church make in our communities? Our schools? Our work? Our families? Is the church to be a social change organization? What does the Gospel have to say to our culture? We will especially focus on exploring what can we do with our education and vocations. We will not come up with all the answers but gain some very specific biblically based and theologically grounded direction.”

God’s Covenant With Abraham

God's Covenant With Abraham

https://trinityandhumanity.files.wordpress.com/2016/03/16-03-06-gods-covenant-with-abraham-gen-12-15-17-tah-guest-andrews.mp3”

In this message, we learn that God is a covenant-making God. Because of sin, the people on earth had been separated from God (Eden) and each other (Babel), but God chose one man, one family, through whom He promised to reverse this separation. This promise was later fulfilled through Abraham’s descendant—Jesus of Nazareth. And this promise continues to be fulfilled today through the mission of Jesus’ church as peoples from all over the world become part of God’s family through faith in the gospel.

God’s Perspective On Human Rebellion and Sin!

Genesis_3 God's perspective on sin

https://trinityandhumanity.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/16-02-14-gods-perspective-on-human-rebellion-and-sin-gen-3-1-24-tah.mp3”

Genesis 3 is about God and the Fall of man. However, one problem with sinners is that they bring a sinful perspective to understanding sin and the fall and therefore can’t understand it. Ha! In fact, most sinners are so sin-centered they actually think sin is the primary thing to God! Yikes! But what if sin ISN’T the primary thing with God, but only a secondary thing? What if God and His Good News IS not only the primary thing, but the first and last thing? And what awesome difference would it make to have God’s perspective on human rebellion and sin rather than a sinner’s perspective? Honestly? It would make all the difference in the world!!! How quickly do you want to be renewed in the hope and truth of God? Good! Then you may now get to, and download, this Good News fast and in a hurry! 🙂

Jesus Christ, Our Vision!

Jesus our vision

https://trinityandhumanity.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/15-01-03-jesus-christ-our-vision-matt-8-tah-guest-andrews.mp3”

As a congregation grapples with participating even more with Jesus on His Mission in and outside the walls of the local congregation, the Good News is proclaimed that Jesus Christ is our Vision, therefore, we can go forward confidently with Him in faith, and without fear, even in the middle of the accompanying storm!

Matthew 8:23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.

How To Share God’s Good News With Others! pt.5

9-21-2015 Putting Faith into Words 7-04-39 PM15.10.18 How To Share God’s Good News With Others, pt.5 (1 Cor 15, Rev 21.22-26) – TAH

As the saying goes, you can live one minute without air but not one second without hope! Could you use some hope and clarity about your present purpose and destiny?; hope about life even in this present evil age? If you answered YES then this is a message for you! In this message of God’s Good News get good Christian responses to your questions like:

Why am I working so hard and long on the job and in the home? Why am I hanging in there in my marriage and relationships? Why am I attending this particular school of higher learning? Why should I take time off from work and rest, or take a vacation! Why am I learning to be so patient, peaceful, and persevering in traffic, and even in tragedy?! Why am I learning to be so prickly, perturbing, and provoking even though I am by nature more meek, shy and non-disturbing?

Bottom line: Understand the importance of sharing Jesus’ Hope with others in word and deed as we participate with Him, presently, in the Spirit!

1.) grab a pen or pencil,

2.) download this worksheet: How To Share God’s Good News With Others- TAH (fill in the blank),  (or use the one you have already printed out), and,

3.) fill-in-the-blanks as you prepare to teach what you are learning to others who can teach what their learning to others!

15.10.04 How To Share God’s Good News With Others, pt.4 (Rom 8 The Msg) – TAH

Do you realize the opportunity you have been given to reach those who have not yet received the Jesus Who has received them? As a child of God, Father, Son and Spirit, you have the empowerment of the Spirit to see lives joyously transformed as people are informed by His light of love in this world, in and through you!

Plus…

In this very practical message, be reminded HOW to share God’s grace graciouslyHow TO share, and how NOT to share, the Good News with those struggling in the LGBT communityBe reminded of a better image you and everyone should have in mind about our present trials and painsUnderstand how to point people to the real intent and subject of scripture so that scripture reading becomes less burdensome and more joyful and hopeful as they meet Jesus there…, Grasp an often overlooked “cure” for depression if other medical, biological and spiritual reasons can be ruled out… plus LOTS more!

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good!

taste and see

In this Gospel Message, Pastor Richard Andrews of  New Life Fellowship of Baltimore, Proclaims the GOOD NEWS of The God Revealed in Jesus Christ with a  message entitled “Taste And See That The Lord Is Good!” and asks the question “Are we ready to take that exhortation we find in Psalms 34 and make it something we LIVE BY, LIVE THROUGH and LIVE WITH?”

In this message we learn what trials REALLY represent and hear that:

  1. Our foolishness does NOT determine God’s actions towards us! There is no circumstance we can go through that is too big or complicated that can change who God is!
  2. No matter the circumstance, God invites us to open up our mouths and have an experience with him. God invites us to experience HIS presence.
  3. Our trials help us to taste and see God’s goodness. They make God REAL. The more we TASTE, the more we SEE, the more we TRUST!

Listen and be comforted knowing that God loves us too much not to let us experience HIM, and because of that there WILL be points of pain and trials.
