A Foretaste of Heaven at the Wheel of Fortune!

Whhel of Fortune

Yes, I actually got a turn at the Wheel of Fortune, and YES, I even won and got to the final round! My winnings included for me a wonderful 50th birthday and at the same time, for me and my wife, a Silver Wedding Anniversary gift/trip to St. Martin this year! Yay! And, YES, I even won a staggering amount of money! In fact we are still staggered at how un-far the winnings were able to go in paying down our debts, and how quickly our debt-monster devoured it looking, unfortunately, for more! hahaha! And yes, I went to win as much money and as many prizes as I could because that, after all, is what going on that show is all about! Can I get an “Amen!” Chuch?! Heehee….

So, we’re no longer under the “burden” of the staggering financial wealth I received, and our backs are less stressed now, and we have a few less people beggin us for some…heehaw 🙂 Plus, believe it or not, for me, winning the money was not the absolute best part of the story! Would you believe the thing I’ve been most thrilled about regarding my experience on the show was the amazing way it brought me and family and friends, and even strangers, together in love and friendliness (starting with the fantastically awesome, Wheel of Fortune staff!)?! Thanks to our modern communication methods and especially the Internet and Television I had a truly people-unifying experience in all of this! Shewowsa! Seriously!

I have friends who told family and friends about the show and they all met up in houses together and cheered me on multi-generationally and multi-racially! I can’t count how many who told me they felt like they were winning when I was winning and losing when I was losing! Talk about unity! Haha! I’ve traveled to different states and had people recognize me from the show and greet me warmly and even want my autograph and business card and, of course, a “selfie” taken with me as proof to others that they met me! We all actually shook hands, hugged, and blessed each other! Ha!

I believe that in my experience with Wheel of Fortune, God, Father, Son and Spirit gave me and others (maybe you!) a tiny but true foretaste of what our future promised in Christ looks and acts like! A future that promises the full unity and reconciliation of humanity as it is in Christ! That stupendous news gets even better when we recognize that God is so gracious and present NOW, even in our blindness and darkness, we don’t have to wait for the fullness to arrive before we get a foretaste! We get to taste the reality of Jesus and live in HOPE NOW – Wow!!! Check it:

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

In Jesus Christ we are promised that as family, friends and neighbors, we will be brought together around an awesome Relational Event while sharing in the love and life of God, Father, Son and Spirit! And I haven’t even mentioned the food or wine yet (oops, now I have! Ha!) My Wheel of Fortune experience sounds a little like everybody getting along in Jesus doesn’t it? I think so too! You can check out my show here and get glad, sad and mad with me: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x39v27m 🙂

Thank you, Wheel of Fortune, for participating in God’s having us all together in love and friendliness! 🙂

P.S. And now I’m able to share this experience with all of you, many of whom I don’t know, and who didn’t know about my experience till now, and you get to share in it too! Perhaps this is stirring up how, at the very least, what you and I deeply long and hope for is actually going to come true – the reconciliation of all people! After all, God’s Good News is stated as having been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, so I know you want it too! Colossians 1:23! Hmpf! 🙂

I love the way you are living in the Kingdom now!! It’s all about relation ships. Yes, we are all winning through Jesus who controls the wheel.

I Love the way He is sharing it right now, as small as the foretaste is, and I share your confidence in Him in His merciful grace! I want to know you more along with my sister Mary, Jesus! 🙂
